Dr. Grace Hoffman is a Fellow at American Council on Women, Peace, and Security. She serves as a Women, Peace, and Security subject matter expert and instructor at Defense Security Cooperation University (DSCU) where she is integrating WPS into the curriculum for Department of Defense security cooperation planners and U.S. international partner militaries.

Dr. Hoffman is a historian who received her Ph.D. in 2021 from Trinity College Dublin. During that time, she worked as a research assistant to one of the leading Irish historians, and she served as a researcher at the Trinity Long Room Hub Arts & Humanities. At the Hub, she collaborated with academics, researchers, professionals, and tech companies around the world. She has spoken at universities and conferences in Europe and the United States. Her research focuses on violence, dehumanization, and language in conflict and rebellion.

Dr. Hoffman received her B.A. from Florida State University where she was a scholarship Division I Athlete who qualified for the NCAA Swimming Championships.
